You may have read my blog post on EverythingMom about suffering through the city’s first snow storm [cough]. Yeah, okay maybe not quite a snow storm. Okay, maybe not a storm at all. Although I don’t miss shoveling the sidewalk and walkway or stumbling through the piles of snow on the way to school, my kids feel like they’re missing out. The weather’s been cold enough to require snowsuits but they haven’t yet experienced the joys of frolicking in the snow. What to do.
Well if you’re like me you have family that lives in the snow belt. For the Family Day long weekend we visited my mom who lives about 3-hours north of us and has snow, lots of snow. Finally, the reason snowsuits were invented.
What did you do to celebrate with your family?
